Following the success of the pilot programme, East Lothian Council is now funding the roll out of the programme to other areas of the county.
The programme is specifically for the improvement of mental health and well being in later life. Active Arts was set up to tackle social isolation and offer activities to anyone over the age of 50.
Active Arts Participants taking part in this film project members of the drama group which meets at the Brunton Theatre, Musselburgh each Wednesday from 10.30 to 12.30. The drama leader is Freda O’Byrne.
